Flex Truck Driver - Class A - $7500 Retention Bonus - Penske Logistics

About the position

Penske Logistics is seeking full-time Class A CDL Truck Drivers to perform multi-stop deliveries of sheet metal parts and supplies to automotive dealerships. This position requires regional travel to various locations as needed, with layovers required. Drivers will utilize late model, Penske maintained trucks equipped with best-in-class specs designed for comfort, including sleeper cabs. The role involves unloading trailers using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages, as well as scanning products during unloading and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Perform multi-stop deliveries of sheet metal parts
• Travel regionally to work at various locations as needed
• Unload trailer using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages
• Use scanner to scan products as they are unloaded and delivered

Requirements

• CDL Class A required
• Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
• 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years
• 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
• Ability to work the required schedule and at the specific location required
• Complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation and drug screening required
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required
• English language proficiency required
