DSI is growing, again! We are seeking a highly adaptable, reliable, and professional Flex Security Officer to join our Houston team. The Flex Officer is a premium role designed for our most dependable team members. Unlike a traditional assigned post, you are the "First Responder" for our operations. You will support various client sites across the Houston area, filling in for emergency call-offs, vacations, and specialized short-term assignments. This role offers a higher pay rate in exchange for total availability. While we strive to provide advance notice, this position requires you to be "on-call" to handle last-minute needs. Requirements

Must be willing and able to work any shift (Days, Nights, Weekends, Holidays) on short notice.
Ability to walk into a new environment and perform professionally with minimal "ramp-up" time.
Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
You must have 100% reliable transportation and a working smartphone for immediate communication.
At least 21 years old
High School Diploma/GED
Valid Driver’s License
Texas Security License
Ability to perform foot patrols and moderate lifting as required by various post assignments.

Responsibilities

Be available to accept shifts on short notice to ensure client sites remain secure.
Quickly learn and execute "Post Orders" for diverse environments (Corporate, Industrial, Retail, etc.).
Maintain a safe environment by observing, correcting, and reporting hazards.
Serve as a high-level representative of DSI, interacting professionally with clients and the public at various locations.
Complete detailed Daily Activity Reports (DARs) and incident reports with high accuracy.
