About the position

The Fitness Specialist at Elevation Corporate Health is responsible for managing daily operations of the fitness center, providing exceptional customer service, and leading group fitness classes. This role emphasizes health education, wellness initiatives, and personal training, all aimed at enhancing the fitness experience for members and clients. The position requires a passion for fitness and a commitment to helping others achieve their health goals in a supportive and motivating environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct fitness center orientations and tours for new members.
• Manage membership administration including portal enrollment and waivers.
• Assist with day-to-day operations of the fitness center.
• Promote health education and wellness initiatives through various programs.
• Instruct group exercise classes, up to 4 classes per week.
• Supervise the fitness floor and maintain equipment.
• Provide personal training services to clients.
• Utilize social media to update fitness center information.
• Perform safety checks to ensure a safe working environment.
• Deliver excellent customer service by answering calls and addressing member inquiries.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science or a related field.
• Current CPR/AED certification.
• Group fitness certification or experience teaching group fitness classes.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in Google Suite and Canva.

Nice-to-haves

• Mind/Body group exercise experience is a plus.
