We are currently seeking a qualified Fire Sprinkler Designer responsible for the design of both new construction and retro fit applications. The ideal applicant should have completed a 2 to 4 year college degree/certificate program; or have 2 to 4 years of related experience and/or training; or have an equivalent combination of education and experience. NICET level III is a plus. This applicant must have a valid driver's license and a reliable source of transportation, as travel will be necessary for site surveys. A Fire Sprinkler Designer will plan and design fire sprinkler systems utilizing architectural drawings to produce fire sprinkler drawings and calculations. Responsibilities to include: production of accurate and effective construction plans for the purpose of generating material deliveries and field installation drawings. Upon completion of drawings and receipt of all required approvals, designers prepare an accurate listing of all materials required for the project. The Designer will also work with data sheets, RFIs, change orders, and additional support accountabilities within project scope.
