Responsibilities

  • Assist the Lead Fire Installer with repairs, maintenance, and testing of fire systems and associated devices.
  • Learn and follow troubleshooting procedures using technical manuals and bulletins to diagnose and repair equipment.
  • Complete inspection reports and repair documents using communication devices such as smartphones and laptops.
  • Maintain a structured service schedule and perform duties with safety as a priority.
  • Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to work away from home for 2 weeks out of a month.
  • Demonstrated high level of customer service.
  • Ability to work well with others and be a self-starter.
  • Strong organizational skills and a positive attitude.
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Capable of performing physical labor, including carrying and moving equipment up to 70 lbs.
  • Must be able to climb ladders and work with scaffolding and high lift equipment up to 40 feet.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including alternate shifts or weekends.
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and meet company driving record requirements.
  • Able to pass a pre-employment background and drug test.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and operational manuals.
  • Understanding the importance of quality service and technical installation support.
  • Experience with hand tools.
