About the position

The Finished Fuels and Additives Product Portfolio Manager at Baker Hughes is responsible for managing the product portfolio for Downstream Chemicals, focusing on finished fuel additives. This role involves developing and executing strategies to enhance brand equity and drive returns on technology investments. The manager will oversee the health of the product portfolio, collaborate with various teams, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental policies while traveling internationally for business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for the portfolio's functional, business, and financial performance of Downstream Chemicals products portfolio, specifically finished fuel additives.
  • Leads global portfolio management, executing strategy, product portfolio optimization, and lifecycle management.
  • Provides high-level support for the product portfolio, including automation applications and key technical information.
  • Collaborates with sales, commercial, and marketing teams to deploy strategies for established and new products.
  • Delivers business growth through New Product Introduction (NPI), Advanced Technology Development, and productivity initiatives.
  • Leads NPI planning and ensures commercial success in coordination with stakeholders across global regions.
  • Leads Stage Gate product and technology development teams, including necessary documentation for gate meetings.
  • Plans and designs platform strategies for short-term and long-term product positioning and business impact.
  • Works with Supply Chain to identify and create supply strategies and cost targets.
  • Represents the organization in discussions with customers and technical forums.
  • Conducts all business activities in accordance with Baker Hughes Health Safety and Environmental policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering/science discipline or higher academic degree.
  • 8+ years of cross-functional, sales and operations, and/or technology leadership experience.
  • 10+ years of operations experience in Downstream finished fuel additives technology, products, applications, and services.
  • Solid experience in technical support or sales/operations/technology.
  • Highly experienced in Program, Project, and/or Product Management.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in international business operations.
  • Familiarity with automation applications in chemical services.
