About the position

The Financial Systems Analyst at Navistar, Inc. plays a crucial role in supporting the development, implementation, and maintenance of financial systems for Navistar Financial Company (NFC). This position involves collaboration with various internal and external partners to ensure that the systems align with NFC's vision and enhance functionality over time. The analyst will manage a range of tasks including requirement gathering, release testing, and production processes, while also providing training and support to staff on new systems and features.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a key contributor in the creation, development, deployment, and support of IF's financial systems.
  • Aid in the design of training materials and support ongoing training to staff for new IF systems or features.
  • Support reporting and dashboards needs for business users and leadership.
  • Aid in the design and documentation of business processes and workflows.
  • Participate in Steering Committee meetings, development groups, and strategy sessions with internal stakeholders.
  • Effectively communicate priorities, product vision, and requirements to the development team, stakeholders, and customers.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, quality assurance, and sales teams.
  • Manage product backlog, plan, and conduct sprint reviews with IT development teams.
  • Define, prioritize, and manage product features and requirements, identifying market opportunities and understanding customer needs.
  • Liaison and monitor each phase of the product development cycle, providing feedback to development teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • At least 2 years of financial systems experience, or a Master's degree with at least 1 year of experience, or at least 5 years of financial systems experience.
  • Thorough understanding of Pricing Programs, NPV calculations, Rate Cards maintenance, and financial products in the lending and finance industry.
  • Highly effective time and project management skills, including the ability to coordinate development, testing, and implementation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Credit Agency integrations and systems.
  • Familiarity with Contract Documentation, FIS Asset Finance, Oracle, SAP Business Objects, and other corporate core systems.
