About the position
VSolvit is seeking a qualified Financial Systems Analyst I to support the NSWC PHD Ships Defense and Expeditionary Warfare Department. This hybrid position involves providing detailed financial analysis, budget preparation, funds tracking, and allocation services. The role requires adherence to company policies, effective communication with supervisors, and the ability to work independently on assigned tasks.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional financial analysis and tracking for multiple branches, divisions, and projects.
- Develop budget analyses and recommendations and present findings to management.
- Utilize advanced MS Excel skills, including linking spreadsheets, developing pivot tables, and creating macros.
- Write clear, detailed reports and communicate effectively in English.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business discipline and 1 year of directly related experience, or no degree with 5 years of hands-on experience with Navy financial and administrative systems.
- Active Secret Clearance is required.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with N-ERP reports and modules.
- Familiarity with US Navy and NSWC PHD processes and systems.
