About The Position

South Carolina Federal Credit Union is currently seeking a Financial Sales Representative to join our team of outstanding professionals at our West Columbia Financial Center in West Columbia, SC. This role involves providing exceptional customer service and offering financial products and services that meet the customers' needs. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping others, enjoys regular customer interaction, and thrives in a team environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least one year of experience working specifically in a sales position selling products and/or services
  • Proven record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
  • Positive attitude
  • Relevant military experience is considered for veterans and transitioning service members.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with team members during the morning huddle and discuss sales goals for the day.
  • Greet and develop rapport with members who enter the financial center or call on the telephone.
  • Answer a member's question about the auto loan application process.
  • Ask a member open-ended questions about their financial goals and recommend products and services based on their needs.
  • Follow up with a member who recently opened an account.
  • Chat briefly with your manager to discuss wins, challenges and progress on sales goals.
  • Call members to share a new promotion for which they may qualify.
