About the position
As a Financial Consultant at Fidelity, you will engage directly with clients in our Investor Center, providing personalized financial planning and guidance. This role focuses on nurturing existing client relationships and leveraging Fidelity's extensive resources to deliver comprehensive investment solutions. You will be supported by a strong business model that includes an established client base and institutional feeders, allowing you to concentrate on deepening client relationships rather than sourcing new clients.
Responsibilities
- Engage face-to-face with customers to offer guidance and personalized financial planning.
- Support clients by providing comprehensive investment solutions and retirement plans.
- Effectively engage clients through personal interactions, reflecting strong interpersonal communication and relationship-building skills.
- Mentor and support customers in reaching their retirement goals.
- Introduce clients to different investment strategies and bring together additional client assets.
Requirements
- Previous success in building relationships and recommending financial solutions.
- FINRA Series 7 & 63 licensed; Series 65 or 66 licensed or ability to acquire upon hire.
- Ability to present complex solutions to a knowledgeable client base while building rapport.
- Degree and/or professional certifications are helpful; support for obtaining a CFP or degree through Tuition Reimbursement is available.
- Extensive knowledge of investment solutions.
