About the position

Habit Burger & Grill is looking for an individual who has a passion for data and discovery to support our marketing decision-making. We are looking forward to leveraging data and analytics to deliver insights that will help take Habit's performance to the next level. Reporting to and working in close collaboration with the Sr. Manager of Business Planning, this role is responsible for providing data-driven analysis, insights, and recommendations to optimize our new products, marketing calendar, promotions, menu, pricing, and margin improvement strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Forecast sales, margin, and breakeven of new Limited Time Offer (LTO) product tests and national launch.
  • Conduct post-audits of LTO tests to provide go/no-go recommendation for national launch.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of product launches, digital promotions, and local store marketing initiatives in driving enterprise level financial performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners (Brand Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain) to plan the marketing calendar.
  • Lead regular reporting of sales performance by product category and region, marketing activity, and other relevant factors.
  • Drive the development of quantitative analysis and ad hoc reports to support marketing decision-making.
  • Help with supply chain projections and product sales forecasting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or Finance required.
  • 5+ years of experience in a Finance or Marketing Analytics role.
  • Expert in Excel.
  • Familiarity with the Test and Learn approach.
  • High integrity and work ethic.
  • Strong business acumen with a high sense of curiosity.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and creative problem-solving skills.
  • High energy with a focus on detail, as well as excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Highly organized, motivated, and a team player.

Nice-to-haves

  • Restaurant, retail, or multi-unit experience is preferred.
