About The Position

Hernandez Consulting & Construction and TNT Biofuels specialize in large-scale infrastructure and industrial projects, with a focus on environmental sustainability and energy solutions. Our work spans wastewater treatment facilities, natural gas infrastructure, and related energy systems. We are committed to delivering projects that improve critical infrastructure while promoting sustainable operations and workforce development. This is a paid internship opportunity that would assist Firm Management in putting together business plans and financial models for development of renewable energy projects. The intern will conduct competitive analysis and assist with developing financials and business case packages. The intern will also get exposure to financial management, budgeting, and forecasts. The current spring semester and summer opportunity will be flexible with the schedule as to accommodate school work and summer vacation. Further, we would like to potentially maintain the internship part-time during the following academic year if not yet graduating. The position can potentially also lead to a full-time job offer upon graduation. The current internship will also have opportunities to work in on-site consulting capacities, depending on experience.

Requirements

Excellent writing and communication skills
Can work independently to accomplish tasks
Self-disciplined and detail oriented
Experience in writing proposals/business plans
Experience with proforma
EXCEL skills
Financial modeling

Responsibilities

Assist Firm Management in putting together business plans and financial models for development of renewable energy projects.
