About the position
The Financial Analyst Intern position at Rabobank offers a unique opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in the financial services sector, particularly within agriculture. Interns will engage in various tasks related to loan structures, credit products, and financial analysis while working collaboratively with a supportive team. This full-time, 10-week paid internship is designed to foster professional growth and skill development, allowing interns to contribute to real projects and present their findings to leadership.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the internship program and work 40 hours/week.
- Develop an understanding of loan structures and credit products.
- Engage in day-to-day tasks of a Financial Analyst, including sourcing loan documents and analyzing financial statements.
- Participate in team meetings and utilize RAF technologies such as Teams and Salesforce.
- Conduct financial spreading and financial statement analysis.
- Work cross-functionally with other areas of the CRT team and participate in rotations within other functions.
- Research and follow up on loan delinquencies.
- Participate in a summer-long project and present findings to leadership.
Requirements
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple projects.
- Quick learner who can work well in teams and independently.
- Knowledge or experience in agriculture is preferred.
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Ag Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related major.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale required.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with financial analysis or related coursework.
- Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM tools.
