About the position
The Financial Analyst II position at DHR Health is responsible for overseeing the accounts payable process, ensuring accurate and timely processing of vendor payments, and supervising staff involved in daily financial operations. The role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders within the hospital. The analyst will also maintain vendor records, reconcile statements, and prepare financial reports as needed.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate vendor payable system.
- Supervise and review staff performing daily posting of invoices, vouchers, and credits.
- Ensure timely processing, signing, and distribution of vendor payments.
- Maintain files and update vendor records.
- Reconcile vendor statements and calculate ending vendor accruals.
- Handle inquiries regarding vendor activity.
- Calculate month-end vendor accruals and prepare sales tax files.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Computer experience is required.
- Secretarial experience is required.
- Organizational skills are necessary.
- Good written and verbal communication skills required.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
- Accounting experience preferred.
- Knowledge of accounting terminology is preferred.
