The Financial Advisory Career Training Program at Year Up United is an intensive job training initiative designed for young adults aged 18-29. The program focuses on developing technical and professional skills through in-classroom training, internships, and personalized coaching. Participants gain access to job placement services and receive an educational stipend during their internship phase, preparing them for successful careers in the banking and financial services sector.

Responsibilities

• Participate in in-classroom skill development sessions.
• Engage in internships with leading organizations such as Bank of America, American Express, or JPMorgan Chase.
• Receive personalized coaching and mentorship throughout the program.
• Develop professional business and communication skills.
• Build resumes and enhance interviewing and networking skills.

Requirements

• Must be 18-29 years old.
• High school graduate or GED recipient.
• Eligible to work in the U.S.
• Available Monday-Friday throughout the program duration.
• Highly motivated to learn technical and professional skills.
• Must not have obtained a Bachelor's degree.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous experience in customer service or banking is a plus.
