About the position

Vanguard Personal Advisor Select advisors are responsible for establishing, growing, and maintaining trusting, long-term advised relationships. They partner with investors who need help planning their financial goals and are seeking disciplined investing approaches, tax management strategies, and additional financial planning support. Our advisors truly get to know their clients' goals and aspirations to develop a personalized investment strategy and deliver financial planning guidance for the moments that matter. Advisors partner with clients with $500,000 up to $5M through an ongoing advice relationship. At the onset of a relationship, personalized consultations are conducted to assess investors' financial situations, goals, risk tolerance, and financial planning needs to develop a personalized investment plan. Advisors maintain deep relationships and high client satisfaction and loyalty by delivering personalized interactions enabled by digital experiences, investment planning expertise, and shaping client financial health through proactive outreach helping them stay focused on their goals. Advisors will join a collaborative and supportive team with opportunities to grow and develop others and self.

Responsibilities

  • Establish, grow, and maintain trusting, long-term advised relationships with clients.
  • Conduct personalized consultations to assess investors' financial situations, goals, risk tolerance, and financial planning needs.
  • Develop personalized investment plans for clients with $500,000 up to $5M.
  • Deliver personalized interactions and financial planning guidance to enhance client satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Maintain deep relationships with clients through proactive outreach and support.
  • Collaborate with a supportive team and contribute to the growth and development of others.

Requirements

  • CFP designation required.
  • Series 7, 63 or 66 (or ability to acquire within 3 months of assuming position).
  • Minimum of 3 years of advisory experience, specifically in advice planning, book of business management, and relationship management.
  • Proven experience managing a book of business with a track record of client satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Knowledge of trust and estate planning to help preserve client's wealth.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial planning, investment strategies, and industry regulations.
  • Ability to foster collaboration as both a peer and business partner.
