About the position
Copeland Buhl & Company PLLP is looking to add a Finance Manager to our firm. As a Finance Manager, you will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, & analysis to help drive strategic decision-making within the firm. This is an individual contributor role reporting directly to the Chief Administrative Officer.
Responsibilities
- Build and analyze accurate financial reports, providing insights into financial performance and trends
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive financial reporting package for leadership and board members
- Prepare monthly financial review documents and weekly/monthly KPI reports
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, including the development of a rolling forecast model
- Build and maintain cash flow model
- Collaborate with the Accounting Manager to support month-end close and provide backup as needed
- Conduct benchmarking analysis and complete industry surveys
- Partner with the IT team to design and enhance Power BI dashboards, including KPI visualizations
- Play an active role in selecting and implementing a new internal accounting system
- Support special projects and strategic initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or similar degree
- 5+ years of progressive financial analysis experience
- Strong financial and business acumen with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly present financial data
