About the position

As a Finance Intern at Elanco, you will be an integral part of the Finance team, contributing to various business-critical projects that are essential to the company's operations. This internship offers a unique opportunity to explore a wide range of finance functions, including Corporate Audit Services, Corporate Tax Services, Corporate Financial Reporting and Planning, Treasury, and Capital Markets. You will engage in meaningful work that not only enhances your understanding of the finance sector but also allows you to make impactful recommendations that can influence the direction of key projects within the organization. Throughout your internship, you will build a comprehensive understanding of Elanco's growing role in the animal health industry. You will have the chance to network with finance leaders at Elanco, gaining insights into the various areas within the Finance organization. Regular check-ins and presentations to executive-level leadership will be part of your responsibilities, providing you with valuable exposure to high-level decision-making processes. Responsibilities

  • Build your understanding of Elanco's growing role in the animal health industry
  • Network with Elanco's finance leaders to gain exposure and understanding of the various areas within Elanco's Finance organization
  • Provide recommendations to a business-critical finance project
  • Maintain regular check-ins and reporting/presenting to executive level leadership

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in Business-related undergrad studies with emphasis in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
  • Strong sense of initiative, problem solving, and learning agility

Nice-to-haves

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Proven to be self-motivated, with demonstrated high level of responsibility and professionalism
  • Must be able to work exceptionally well independently and with minimal supervision
