About the position
The Finance & Insurance Manager in the high-end automotive industry is responsible for offering vehicle financing and insurance to customers, ensuring they receive comprehensive explanations of aftermarket products, extended warranties, and dealership service procedures. This role involves maintaining relationships with lending institutions to secure competitive financing options, processing financing and leasing deals, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. The manager will also collaborate with the sales department to enhance referral programs and train the sales team on finance and lease offerings.
Responsibilities
- Offer vehicle financing and insurance to customers.
- Provide thorough explanations of aftermarket products and extended warranties.
- Maintain relationships with lending institutions to secure competitive interest rates.
- Process financing and leasing deals accurately and secure approvals through proper channels.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations affecting the finance department.
- Create and maintain a referral program with the sales department.
- Train the sales team on finance and lease programs and dealership offerings.
Requirements
- Two or more years of automotive sales experience.
- Experience in a dealership management position.
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and vendors.
- Ability to work extended hours, including evenings and weekends.
- A college degree or equivalent experience in finance is preferred.
