About the position
We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our small business in Jacksonville, FL. The role focuses on maintaining properties by performing various repair and maintenance tasks, ensuring that all equipment and systems are functioning properly. The ideal candidate will have experience in building maintenance and will be responsible for preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and responding to emergency maintenance requests.
Responsibilities
- Repair and maintain equipment and systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and systems.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems.
- Inspect and test appliances and equipment for proper operation.
- Operate power tools, hand tools, and other specialized equipment to perform maintenance tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
- Follow safety protocols when working with hazardous materials.
Requirements
- Experience in building maintenance including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and general repairs.
- Valid Driver's License.
