Field Support Specialist - Home Care
About The Position
Acti-Kare Responsive In Home Care provides exceptional one on one senior home care across King County, Pierce County, and Snohomish County. Come be a part of our exceptional team. We are looking for a highly responsive and dependable Field Support Specialist to provide immediate care coverage and support quality assurance efforts. The ideal candidate must be fully available for immediate dispatch during core hours, with the ability to respond to calls and leave for assignments without delay. Guaranteed between 30-35 hours/ week depending on your availability. Although this position is listed in Kenmore, it is a field position and may need to travel throughout King, Pierce and Snohomish County. This position will work as an On Call caregiver to fill in for caregiver call outs at a moments notice, they will work as a Floater going to new clients and starting care as we work to staff with a permanent caregiver and will work as a Lead Caregiver in the field helping to perform meet and greets in client's homes and do in field observations.
Requirements
- Full availability during core hours: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, at least 4 days per week of availability which should include 1 weekend day.
- Must be able to respond immediately to calls and leave for assignments without delay during core hours
- Must have reliable transportation and car insurance, and be able to drive 10-40 miles per day (varies)
- Minimum 3 years experience
- Licensed HCA or CNA Caregiver
- High level of communication skills and a comfort level with a wide variety of clients desired.
Nice To Haves
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Care Aide (HCA) certification required
- Extensive caregiving experience, preferably in a home care setting
- Valid driver's license and reliable, insured vehicle
- Willingness and ability to drive up to 40 miles per day (typical range is 10-20 miles)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to assist clients with mobility
- Ability to remain on-call and respond immediately during core hours
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Exceptional reliability and punctuality
- Demonstrated ability to work with all types of clients
- Strong relationship-building and quality assurance skills
- Extremely reliable and immediately responsive during on-call hours
- Adaptable and flexible in various care situations

Responsibilities
- Maintain constant readiness to respond to call-ins during core hours
- Conduct client quality visits to ensure high standards of care
- Provide immediate coverage for regular caregivers when called upon
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, companionship, meals, mobility, etc.
- Travel to various client locations throughout the day
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and their families
- Perform in field caregiver observations
- Document the days events
