About the position
Healthcare Plus is seeking a full-time Field Supervisor for its Sterling office. This hybrid role combines fieldwork as a caregiver in Lee, Ogle, and Whiteside counties with administrative duties in the Sterling office. The position offers an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in the healthcare industry while engaging in office work. Although previous CNA experience is preferred, training will be provided, making it accessible for candidates without prior experience.
Responsibilities
- Support the office team by filling in for unexpected call-offs or sick days of field workers.
- Provide one-on-one client care to clients who are unable to look after themselves.
- Assist clients with activities of daily living as directed in their Plan of Care.
- Provide housekeeping and laundry services, shopping for food and other household needs, preparing and serving meals and snacks, and running errands.
- Assist clients with personal care such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and diaper changes when needed.
- Monitor clients' use of mobility aids and personal hygiene equipment.
- Record the client's activities and changes by making entries in the client tasks report and notifying the supervisor of any unusual conditions.
- Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy environment for clients by following universal precautions, security procedures, and special instructions.
- Provide client transportation to and from doctor appointments as needed.
- Perform office duties such as filing paperwork, making calls, documenting notes in the Portal, and organizing presentation materials.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or transcripts
- Social Security Card
- A valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and car insurance
Nice-to-haves
- Previous CNA experience (preferred but not required)
