About The Position

Action Target is seeking a full-time traveling Field Service Technician to perform repairs and maintenance on their equipment and at customer sites. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a unique industry with diverse customers and have a passion for firearms training technology. Requirements

Ability to travel Monday through Friday (and sometimes Saturday), working at multiple facilities.
Experience with electricity, including high voltage and 3-phase.
Must live within 1 hour of a major airport.
Basic understanding of networking principles and hardware.
Experience with mechanical troubleshooting and repair.
Experience with electronics concepts and components.
Very strong skills in customer service, relationship building, and interpersonal communication.
Computer skills including word processing, basic networking, and communication port configuration.
Ability to lift and manipulate heavy loads up to 100 pounds.
Ability to work in narrow spaces and on ladders.
Ability to work efficiently and effectively with little supervision.
Valid driver's license.
Must be able to pass background clearance checks for access to secure federal and military installations.
Must be able to secure a passport.

Nice To Haves

Candidates who live in the Western USA are preferred.
Preference given to candidates in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Responsibilities

Perform repairs and maintenance functions on Action Target equipment and at customer facilities.
Travel extensively, leaving Monday and returning Friday or Saturday, working at multiple facilities during the week.
Troubleshoot and repair a variety of equipment including electric motors, circuit boards, electronic components, pneumatic valves, control systems, large steel bullet traps, and lead buckets.
Provide excellent customer service, build relationships, and communicate effectively with customers.
Work efficiently and effectively with minimal supervision.
