About the position
The Field Service Technician role is a part-time position focused on assisting the lead technician with the installation and maintenance of various technical systems in residential and commercial settings. The technician will be responsible for running cables, installing CCTV systems, Wi-Fi systems, digital signage, and LED lights, while ensuring strong communication and customer service skills are utilized throughout the process.
Responsibilities
- Assist the lead technician in running RG59, RG6 (CCTV), Cat5, and Cat6 (network cable) in residential and commercial buildings.
- Install CCTV systems, Wi-Fi systems, digital signage, and LED lights.
- Provide strong communication and customer service support during installations.
- Travel locally to various job sites as required.
- Work flexible hours, including weekends and after hours, to support installations.
Requirements
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Basic experience with Windows XP and Windows 7 is required.
- Must have reliable transportation and be dependable.
- Ability to pass drug, background, and driving record checks.
Nice-to-haves
- Prior experience in cabling, construction, and/or technical jobs is preferred.
