About the position
The position involves performing service tasks such as preventive maintenance, safety checks, corrective actions, upgrades, and refurbishment on equipment at various locations. The role is crucial for maintaining productive customer relationships and adhering to best practices in both administrative and technical activities. The work will primarily take place in Mount Pleasant, MI, and surrounding areas, with a focus on ensuring customer satisfaction and safety compliance.
Responsibilities
- Stay updated with technical developments and specifications of relevant equipment.
- Respond to customers to maximize satisfaction as instructed by the District Service Manager.
- Follow safety rules and environmental requirements to protect self and others.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, report, plan, and conduct service or repair as instructed by the District Service Manager.
- Submit regular reports and maintain documentation in line with agreed standards.
- Plan and manage time and resources effectively for maximum benefit.
Requirements
- Technical and product knowledge relevant to the equipment serviced.
- Ability to manage customer relationships effectively.
- Understanding of risk management and safety protocols.
- Experience in service processes including inspection and troubleshooting.
- Commercial awareness to ensure cost-effective service delivery.
