About the position

The Field Service Technician I position at Crane Payment Innovations involves servicing, fixing, upgrading, and performing preventative maintenance on coin and currency equipment, ATMs, and specialized office products at client sites in the Atlanta area. The role requires daily travel to various locations, addressing customer service requests, and maintaining a balanced inventory of parts in the company vehicle. The technician will work closely with branch employees to meet client needs and ensure high-quality service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Service, upgrade and perform preventative maintenance on company equipment
  • Travel by vehicle on a daily basis to client sites
  • Work with branch employees to satisfy client needs
  • Address customer service requests within the specified contract response time
  • Extended Hours Coverage periods and ‘On-Call' duty where applicable
  • Safeguard and Maintain a balanced vehicle stock parts inventory
  • Upkeep and cleanliness of company issued vehicle including scheduled service intervals
  • Safeguarding of any company issued assets including tablet computer and mobile phone
  • All other duties as required

Requirements

  • 1-3+ years of working in Technical Service position or similar background
  • Impeccable Integrity
  • Must be able to gain access to highly secured environments
  • Occupational licenses may be necessary to obtain depending on territory/accounts
  • Strong electromechanical aptitude
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including a positive attitude
  • Strong Attention to details - able to proof their own work
  • Proficient in iOS, MS Office applications and Windows OS
  • Personable, approachable and able to work easily with others at all levels
  • Excellent ‘customer first' communications skills
  • Extroverted and positive personality even in the most dire situations
  • Strong tendency to read and respond to body language and verbal cues
  • Tenacious and has the creativity and determination to continue with even the most difficult assignments
  • Exceptionally well organized and able to prioritize their work
  • Ability to set and track goals for themselves
  • Ability to multi-task and work on more than one project at a time
  • Ability to initiate and follow through on assignments without any coaching and work as a proactive team player
  • Able to commit to and meet project deadlines
