About the position

The Field Service Technician role at Intellipro Group Inc involves providing after-sales support and technical services for rental equipment across North America. This position requires diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing various types of machinery, including forklifts, aerial work platforms, and mobile cranes, while ensuring excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Provide service and customer support by phone and during field visits
  • Manage onsite setup, installation, repair, maintenance, and testing tasks
  • Operate and inspect equipment to diagnose technical issues and determine solutions
  • Replace damaged parts and dismantle/reassemble heavy machinery
  • Train other technicians and customer service providers on equipment operations
  • Test equipment after repair to ensure optimal performance
  • Read and interpret operating manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings
  • Overhaul equipment to ensure efficiency and compliance with manufacturer specifications

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent work experience
  • Experience in rental equipment assembly, maintenance, and repair
  • Knowledge of electrical/electronic principles and hydraulic systems
  • Experience with mobile cranes, forklifts, and excavators
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
  • ERP experience (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central preferred)
  • Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills
