About The Position

This role involves diagnosing hardware issues, performing integration and assembly tasks, and providing onsite support to customers at ranges, integration sites, and vendor or subcontractor facilities. The successful candidate will work closely with customers, military personnel, government employees, and internal teams, ensuring all work is completed to high technical and professional standards. As a Junior Field Service Technician your duties will include, but are not limited to: Install, inspect, and repair equipment following established procedures. Perform standard mechanical and electrical integration and assembly tasks. Diagnose and repair mechanical hardware and systems failures. Conduct Final Acceptance Testing to prepare units for delivery. Document installation, repairs, and maintenance activities accurately. Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas to operational standards. Provide fabrication, production, and logistics support for unit delivery. Offer input on design development and manufacturability to engineering teams. Professionally interface with customers, military personnel, government employees, and internal stakeholders at all organizational levels.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Training equivalent to 2 years of technical trade school or military technical school or equivalent experience
  • 2 years of technical experience in manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to obtain/maintain a DoW Secret Security clearance.
  • Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and follow written and verbal directions.
  • Must be familiar with working within AS9100 quality processes.
  • Must follow and comply with all safety rules and guidelines.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to safely lift, carry, and move up to 50 pounds as needed to perform job responsibilities.
