About the position
The Field Services Tech Assistant is an entry-level role designed to support the Field Services Tech Lead in servicing, repairing, and installing electronic locks and access control equipment for clients. This position involves both on-site work and in-shop duties, requiring a valid driver's license and strong customer service skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide service and customer support during field visits
- Assist with all on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and testing tasks
- Help diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions
- Operate vehicle in a safe manner with a clean driving record
- Build positive relationships with customers
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license
- Electrical experience
- Mechanical knowledge
- Ability to use basic electrical hand tools
- Good listening skills
- Trustworthy driving history
