About The Position

Raytheon's Field Engineering team is seeking a Field Service Supervisor. In this dual‑responsibility role, you will provide both technical and business support, lead and guide employees, establish daily operational goals for the team, resolve routine issues, and ensure that all established practices and procedures are followed by direct reports. This onsite position is in McKinney, TX or Tucson, AZ, participating in offsite locations. Travel is up to 25% CONUS, and up to 75% OCONUS, with short-term notice. Relocation assistance is not provided. Employment is contingent upon meeting all medical requirements for overseas assignments including comprehensive post-offer medical examination. Special Work Conditions Must be willing and able to travel to environments that may include harsh living conditions (extreme heat and cold, living conditions, etc.) and/or hostile work environment with little notification.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of 5+ years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of 3+ years’ experience.
  • Experience using electronic resources and test equipment for electronic installation, maintenance, and testing.
  • Prior deployment experience in a combat environment.
  • Experience developing, implementing, maintaining, and evaluating training programs, including written, verbal, hands-on, and tactical assessments of training effectiveness.
  • Proficiency with LINUX or UNIX operating systems.
  • Experience managing employees in a deployed environment across multiple Combatant Commands (CoCOMs).
  • Experience training and guiding large multinational teams.
  • Skilled in briefing senior-level stakeholders and U.S. Government customers.
  • Understanding of fundamental management practices such as scheduling, prioritization, coaching, and process implementation.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

  • Additional years of experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience working with KuRFS Radars and Coyote C‑UAS systems.
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong self-starter with the ability to set and align priorities effectively.
  • Excellent technical writing and oral communication skills.
  • Knowledge of procedures for handling sensitive information.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of field service representatives and direct-report employees.
  • Set daily operational goals and ensure accurate, compliant reporting from field personnel.
  • Assign tasks, manage workflow, and resolve operational issues to maintain productivity.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams, external customers, and vendors.
  • Implement minor process or system improvements to enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and work standards across the team.
  • Manage technical products, services, logistics, provisioning, and configurations for assigned customers.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and recommend solutions to customers and company representatives.
  • Serve as the on-site customer liaison and manage statement‑of‑work requirements.
  • Coordinate employee travel into and within theater of operations.
  • Perform technical analysis of product implementations, modifications, and enhancements based on customer specifications.
  • Apply problem-solving skills using prior experience and established procedures.
  • Conduct performance reviews, establish annual goals, and support employee development.
  • Provide daily equipment and personnel status reports to internal leadership and government customers.
  • Participate in weekly status briefings with internal and government stakeholders.
  • Communicate customer needs and requests promptly to the program team.
  • Provide program expectation briefings to field engineers.
  • Support the deployment coordinator to ensure smooth employee entry and exit from theater operations.
  • Temporarily perform field engineer duties, including oversight of KuRFS Radar and Coyote C-UAS platforms.
  • Represent Field Operations in customer meetings when the IPTL is unavailable.
  • Serve as backup for submitting Trouble Reports and presenting faults to the Trouble Review Board.
  • Offer performance and training feedback to trainers and the FSR Lead.
  • Review work orders and trouble tickets for accuracy and archive finalized documents in the library.
  • Ensure employees complete inventories and scheduled maintenance per program requirements.
  • Hold personnel accountable as custodians of government and program property.
  • Address issues promptly to maintain an effective and productive work environment.
  • Provide input on hiring, termination, promotions, performance evaluations, and rewards for direct reports.
