About the position

Atlas Energy Solutions, headquartered in Austin, TX, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Field Service Leader (FSL) to join our team. The FSL will lead with integrity, ensure operational excellence, and drive improvements across personnel, equipment, customer relationships, and administrative functions. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to foster collaboration among team members and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Lead by example, setting the standard as a professional role model.
  • Ensure Coordinators complete and audit daily documents required for operations.
  • Maintain accuracy in sand trackers before distribution (inventory tracking).
  • Drive improvements in service quality, safety standards, and cross-training opportunities for operators.
  • Enforce HR disciplinary guidelines fairly and consistently.
  • Resolve conflicts effectively and professionally.
  • Collaborate with vendors to coordinate efficient pad moves (Mob/DeMob).
  • Conduct and ensure thorough inspections are completed for each shift.
  • Perform daily inspections of equipment for secondary checks.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Company Consultants to enhance collaboration.
  • Engage with Company Consultants regularly to assess crew performance and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Maintain a daily presence on location, overseeing day-to-day operations.
  • Support day and night crews to ensure seamless operational continuity.
  • Enforce strict adherence to company procedures and SOPs.
  • Communicate transparently and consistently with the FSM while respecting the chain of command.
  • Perform comprehensive pad walk-throughs with Company Consultants and Third party Vendors on new locations to ensure proficient space is given for a successful operation.
  • Manage key administrative tasks, including room reservations, scheduling, and PTO coverage.
  • Ensure punctuality and active participation in weekly operations meetings.
  • Update and communicate promptly to communicate critical information.
  • Conduct route audits from loadouts to wellsites to ensure compliance and efficiency fall within company policy.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a leadership role within field services or a related industry.
  • Strong knowledge of operational procedures and safety standards.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in administrative processes, scheduling, and documentation.
  • Proven ability to swiftly adapt to dynamic situations and make decisive, on-the-spot judgment calls that optimize outcomes and drive success in real-time.
