About the position

The Field Service Engineer - Imaging role at Philips involves providing technical support and maintenance for diagnostic imaging equipment in the IGT and DXR modalities. The position focuses on maximizing customer satisfaction through exceptional service, adherence to regulatory requirements, and effective problem resolution. The engineer will work both independently in the field and collaboratively within a regional team to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service within the Philips IGT and DXR modalities by adhering to customer entitlements and meeting commitments.
• Understand the customer's business and competitive environment to generate service revenue and meet field service metric goals.
• Actively participate as a member of the regional work team to improve processes and identify training gaps.
• Perform all administrative duties within established Philips, State, and Federal regulatory requirements and timeframes.
• Utilize tools and resources to resolve customer and system problems timely and effectively.
• Complete preventative maintenance, Field Change Orders, installations, and diagnose and resolve electronic, network, and mechanical problems.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in a diagnostic imaging service environment or 3+ years in electromechanical industries.
• Ability to understand and apply electronic, mechanical, and networking theory to install, diagnose, and repair equipment.
• Bachelor's degree in electronics or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working in a hospital or healthcare environment.
• Knowledge of radiation safety and handling of radioactive materials.
