About the position

The Field Property Claims Service Manager at Allstate is responsible for overseeing the operations and coordination of the Claims Service Area (CSA). This role focuses on customer satisfaction, loss management, and expense management objectives while acting as a liaison between the Home Office, CSA leaders, and field employees. The manager ensures the delivery of compassionate service that is fast, fair, and easy, while also mentoring and coaching the team to achieve business results.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as an integral member of the Claims Service Area (CSA) staff.
  • Assist in operations and coordination of CSA level oversight and activities.
  • Manage and resolve escalated customer communications, concerns, conflicts, or issues.
  • Ensure staff maintains a connection with customers by understanding and meeting their needs.
  • Consistently meet behaviors, production, and customer service goals.
  • Eliminate barriers to achieving business results.
  • Develop, maintain, and analyze operational and statistical data used by market claim office (MCO) and CSA staff.
  • Proactively identify and manage risk while eliminating barriers to help achieve business results.
  • Ensure adherence to empathetic and responsive customer service in all transactions.
  • Effectively coach and provide development/career guidance for direct reports.

Requirements

  • 5 or more years of experience in customer service or related field.
  • Previous experience as a property adjuster preferred.
  • Proficiency in estimating software like Xactimate preferred.
  • Strong focus on providing exceptional customer service.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and a positive attitude toward challenges.
  • Excellent organization and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license.
