About the position

The Fire Alarm Project Manager will lead moderately complex Fire Alarm projects that generally have been assigned a medium to high corporate priority. This role involves providing subject matter expertise in project management, including project scope definition, risk identification, resource allocation, and facilitation. The Project Manager will maintain control of schedule, cost, safety, quality, and customer expectations at all times, presenting updates to management and customers on project progress and expected results. The position may also involve managing vendor relationships throughout the installation process and ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope.

Responsibilities

  • Lead moderately complex Fire Alarm projects with medium to high corporate priority.
  • Provide subject matter expertise in project management, including project scope definition and risk identification.
  • Maintain control of schedule, cost, safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Present project updates and expected results to management and customers.
  • Manage vendor relationships throughout the installation process.
  • Ensure projects are closed on time and within scope.
  • Track project expenditures and installation progress, modifying schedules as required.
  • Conduct inspections of worksite to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Provide responsive and professional support to customers, ensuring timely follow-up on concerns.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or Associates Degree or equivalent work experience of at least five years.
  • 1-2 years of Project Management experience in the Fire Alarm industry preferred.
  • NICET certification preferred.
  • 1-2 years of Project Management experience in the Construction industry preferred.
