About the position

The Senior Field Marketing Manager plays a crucial role in driving growth for Floor & Decor by managing field marketing initiatives across various divisions, regions, and stores. This position serves as the primary liaison between store managers and the marketing department, ensuring that the marketing strategies align with the needs of the field. The manager will advocate for field marketing requirements, monitor performance metrics, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead as the primary point of contact for store managers and field leadership, representing the entire marketing department.
  • Provide store managers and field leadership with updates on marketing initiatives and recommendations for local/regional opportunities.
  • Monitor performance of stores, markets, regions, and divisions, reporting on results and opportunities.
  • Build strong relationships with store managers and field leadership, understanding their needs and providing impactful recommendations.
  • Identify and champion store- and market-specific marketing needs, formulating tailored goals and plans of action.
  • Advocate for field marketing needs within the marketing department by providing briefs with clear business objectives.
  • Lead partnerships with key stakeholders within the department to create plans and launch marketing activations.
  • Support corporate growth objectives, including same store sales growth and new store growth.
  • Plan, negotiate, buy/place, measure, and optimize media and marketing initiatives.
  • Manage field marketing/advertising budget for stores, ensuring compliance with financial controls.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in managing field marketing activities for a retail organization.
  • Strong track record of successful internal and external relationship management.
  • Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and team-building skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented nature to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to exceed goals and drive business results through marketing.
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills to maximize output.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, persuasion, and presentation skills.
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to thrive under pressure.
