Field Inspector III
About The Position
The Field Inspector (Level 3) will primarily be responsible for performing inspections for all multi-channel products using the iInspector application. This role involves collecting information and capturing quality images for various equipment and inspection types. The position requires proficient equipment operator experience, a comprehensive understanding of common and specialized equipment types, and the ability to professionally communicate with sales staff and external customers for effective inspection processing. Inspectors will interact daily with Inspection Liaisons and other regional inspectors to prioritize workflow in a team environment. Responsibilities include acting as a lead onsite coordinator for large remote sales and serving as a mentor for junior-level inspectors. Support for auction day activities and other assigned duties are also part of the role.
Requirements
- 3 -5 Years of experience in related equipment industry environment
- Proficient equipment operator experience
- Comprehensive understanding of common and specialized equipment types
- Ability to professionally communicate with sales staff and external customers for effective inspection processing
Responsibilities
- Use iInspector application to complete inspections for various equipment & inspection product types
- Coordinate and/or perform tasks to prepare equipment for inspection
- Create strategic routes that drive overall efficiency for remote inspections
- Navigate unique equipment types to select proper inspection checklist that drive content accuracy
- Make equipment condition assessments and provide thorough information to best describe
- Action inspection type upgrades or downgrades to align with equipment condition when warranted
- Communicate and resolve equipment identification and readiness issues
- Navigate and resolve technical concerns related to iInspector app and inspection content processing
- Organize daily tasks in a manner that drive effective sale processing for multichannel products
- Act as a lead onsite coordinator for large remote sales
- Act as a mentor for junior-level inspectors
- Support auction day activities as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
