About the position

GridSource is seeking a Fiber Installer to join their team in Spokane, WA. This full-time position involves performing residential fiber installations while adhering to safety regulations and providing exceptional customer service. The role requires accountability and dependability, with a focus on delivering quality work and solutions to customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform Residential Fiber installations
• Observe all safety rules and regulations
• Assist other technical personnel in the performance of their duties when requested
• Convey a positive and professional appearance and demeanor when communicating the company's products and services to customers
• Ensure accountability and dependability by being on time and serving on call as needed
• Ask relevant questions to ensure problems are resolved quickly or to clarify information or directions
• Assume all other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Technician must have a Truck, Van, or SUV capable of transporting tools, equipment, and a 28' ladder
• Comfortable working at heights no greater than 25'
• Must be able to safely move and lift up to 80lbs
• Technician must have their own tools (drills and standard telecommunications hand tools)
• Technician must have an Android smartphone and Windows 10 Laptop
• Technician must wear lace-up boots with a defined 1/2-inch heel
• Must pass background check and drug test

Nice-to-haves

• 1 year of cabling experience (Preferred)
• 1 year of telecommunication experience (Preferred)
