About The Position

This is an hourly position for a Farm Laborer / Egg Collector at a Breeder Farm located in Castor, LA. The role involves collecting, cleaning, and sorting eggs, ensuring product quality, maintaining logs, performing cleaning and sanitation, and supporting general farm duties while adhering to strict animal health, welfare, safety, and quality standards.

Requirements

• Reliable and motivated individuals encouraged to apply
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, repetitive environment
• Physically capable of lifting up to 40 lbs
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Must adhere to Biosecurity & Animal Welfare requirements (training provided)
• Reliable transportation to the work site is required

Responsibilities

• Collecting, cleaning, and sorting eggs according to quality standards
• Ensuring product quality
• Completing required paperwork and maintaining detailed production logs
• Performing routine cleaning and sanitation throughout the breeder farm
• Checking barns and monitoring egg conditions
• Supporting general farm duties as needed during scheduled shifts
• Ensuring compliance with animal health, welfare, safety, and quality standards
• Performing other duties as assigned
