Part-Time Farm Assistant
About The Position
Regenerative California is seeking a passionate and driven Farm Assistant to join the team at Regenerate 68! Farm, starting immediately through November 15, 2026. This is a part-time role (20–30 hours/week) working side-by-side with Regenerative California’s Farm Manager to learn, build, and manage a regenerative organic farm from the ground up. No prior farming experience is required — just the drive to make a meaningful difference by building living soil and growing food that nourishes communities. This is a rare opportunity to get paid to learn the craft of next-generation farming while contributing to a mission with real regional and statewide impact.
Requirements
- Bilingual (English/Spanish strongly preferred)
- Able to perform manual labor outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Self-motivated with a solutions-oriented mindset
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively
- Eagerness to learn farm operations, equipment, and regenerative practices
Nice To Haves
- Experience or interest in agriculture, environmental work, or community food systems is a plus!
Responsibilities
- Design and implementation of farm systems and infrastructure
- Field and nursery work
- Seeding and transplanting
- Irrigation management and pest management
- Harvest, wash, and pack operations
- Operation of BCS tractor and various farm tools
- Distribution support and community relationship-building
