Requirements

• Masters Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related Human Services field.
• Must be at least 21 years old and able to complete orientation training according to agency program standards.
• Requires active auto-insurance, a valid driver’s license or the ability to obtain one with approved driver status.
• Must successfully complete all agency background checks, which include checks for criminal convictions, behavior harmful towards children, spousal abuse, and drug or sex crimes.

• Will accept applications from Master’s Level Interns in their final Internships.

Responsibilities

• Provide Functional Family Therapy (FFT) services to at-risk youth and their families.
• Strengthen family communication, reduce conflict, and promote healthy, supportive home environment.
• Help youth recognize harmful thinking patterns and improving decision-making skills and developing positive coping strategies.
• Supports emotional well-being, trauma recovery, and behavior change through evidence-based therapeutic practices.
• LSS will provide training in the evidence-based model and program-specific requirement.
• Participate in required training, supervision, and ongoing professional development activities.
• Complete assessments, treatment planning, case documentation, and other required records in a timely and accurate manner.
