About the position

The Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant at One Medical is responsible for managing a diverse patient panel, providing care for acute, chronic, and well visits, and conducting both in-office and tele-health visits. This role emphasizes a human-centered approach to primary care, collaboration with clinical teams, and continuous learning through clinical rounds. The position is integral to transforming healthcare delivery and improving patient experiences.

Responsibilities

• Managing a patient panel with a broad array of patient needs.
• Conducting a mix of acute, chronic, and well visits.
• Treating patients in-office or in testing centers as well as conducting occasional tele-health visits.
• Participating in weekly Clinical Rounds for continuous learning.
• Collaborating with in-office teammates and virtual clinical teams through daily huddles.
• Utilizing specific clinical training to perform in-office procedures.

Requirements

• Completed an accredited FNP or PA program with a national certification.
• At least 2 years of practice as an Advanced Practitioner in an outpatient primary care setting seeing patients of all ages, or 1 year in an outpatient primary care setting coupled with a primary care fellowship or urgent care experience.
• State licensed in Massachusetts by the start date.
• Clinical proficiency in evidence-based primary care.
• Ability to communicate effectively with individuals of all backgrounds.
