Accelerated Urgent Care is seeking dedicated Physician Assistants and Family Nurse Practitioners to provide urgent care services in Bakersfield, CA. This role involves working part-time or full-time, primarily during evening hours, and offers competitive compensation along with bonuses. The position emphasizes a commitment to delivering high-quality healthcare to a diverse patient population in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Practice urgent care medicine during twelve-hour shifts with a one-hour break.
• Treat 4 to 5 patients per hour, ranging from newborns to geriatrics in a low-acuity setting.
• Perform bread and butter procedures such as I&Ds, toenail removal, and laceration repair.
• Utilize in-house point-of-care testing and X-rays, with results available within 20 minutes for routine orders.
• Document patient interactions using VelociDoc with Dragon dictation.

Requirements

• Completion of a formal MSN FNP Program or MS in Health Sciences Physician Assistant Studies.
• Active and in good standing CA Medical License.
• DEA Certificate.
