Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments and gather complete medical, social, and family histories.
- Prescribe medications, therapies, and treatments tailored to individual therapeutic goals.
- Counsel and educate patients and their families.
- Contribute to healthcare initiatives such as Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) and Meaningful Use (MU).
- Diagnose acute and chronic illnesses.
- Order lab and x-ray studies.
- Formulate and initiate patient management plans.
- Make referrals for specialized care as needed.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing or a recognized Nurse Practitioner program.
- Arkansas APRN licensure.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- CPR and ACLS training within 9 months of employment.
- DEA licensure.
- Experience to fulfill the duties of this position.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and network systems.
- Excellent organizational, written, and customer service skills.
- Ability to establish effective working relationships and problem-solve independently.
- Either full COVID-19 vaccination or a willingness to become vaccinated before starting employment.
