Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments and gather complete medical, social, and family histories.
  • Prescribe medications, therapies, and treatments tailored to individual therapeutic goals.
  • Counsel and educate patients and their families.
  • Contribute to healthcare initiatives such as Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) and Meaningful Use (MU).
  • Diagnose acute and chronic illnesses.
  • Order lab and x-ray studies.
  • Formulate and initiate patient management plans.
  • Make referrals for specialized care as needed.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing or a recognized Nurse Practitioner program.
  • Arkansas APRN licensure.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • CPR and ACLS training within 9 months of employment.
  • DEA licensure.
  • Experience to fulfill the duties of this position.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and network systems.
  • Excellent organizational, written, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to establish effective working relationships and problem-solve independently.
  • Either full COVID-19 vaccination or a willingness to become vaccinated before starting employment.
