About the position
Join a full spectrum Family Medicine practice in the quaint community of Long Prairie, MN. This opportunity allows you to provide comprehensive care including outpatient, inpatient, ER, and OB care, with a welcoming environment for C-sections. The practice consists of a group of 2 physicians and 4 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs). You will participate in a call rotation that includes OB, ER backup, and hospital duties. The position offers a large sign-on bonus and loan repayment options, along with 24/7 tele-hospitalist support to ensure you can get adequate rest.
Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient, inpatient, ER, and OB care
- Participate in call rotation for OB and ER backup
- Engage in hospital duties as required
- Utilize outreach resources available for CentraCare
Requirements
- MD or DO degree
- Board certification in Family Medicine
- Ability to perform C-sections
- Experience in rural health care preferred
Nice-to-haves
- Fluency in Spanish or familiarity with Hispanic/Latino cultures
- Interest in community health initiatives
- Experience with telemedicine
