About the position

As a Customer Service Representative at H-E-B, you will play a vital role in ensuring customers feel welcome and valued. This part-time position involves maintaining a well-stocked department, providing superior customer service, and adhering to safety and sanitation standards. Responsibilities

• Stock and rotate items as needed.
• Assist with inventory control; load, unload, and move products.
• Organize, clean, and prepare the back area for the night crew and incoming trucks.
• Organize merchandise on pallets to present the department attractively to the public.
• Ensure the integrity of shelf tags and signage in the department; create and prepare signage as needed.
• Maintain standards in shrink, safety, inventory control, and sanitation.
• Check shipments for out-of-date and damaged products to ensure freshness and quality.
• Build, stock, maintain, and take down store displays.
• Perform the duties of Customer Service Assistant as needed.
• Provide superior customer service and assist customers with product selections.
• Use suggestive selling techniques to meet customer needs and build department sales.
• Clean and sanitize sales floor, display cases, prep areas, and equipment.
• Properly handle and maintain the operation of all equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
