About the position
The Facilities Coordinator at University Retirement Community is responsible for coordinating and completing various projects for the Facility Services team, while also assisting with management priorities and administrative tasks. This role involves maintaining the computerized maintenance management system and serving as the main contact for resident requests and inquiries related to the Facility Services department.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and complete various projects for the Facility Services team.
- Assist with management priorities and administrative tasks.
- Maintain the computerized maintenance management system (Maintenance Connection).
- Serve as the main contact for resident requests, questions, and information for the Facility Services department.
- Participate in the department's standard training program to enhance skills.
- Address resident concerns while adhering to established standards and guidelines.
- Procure required licenses and permits.
- Verify required CCB#, proof of liability insurance, and licensure for contractors.
- Organize and assist with all aspects of project management, construction, and documentation.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year's experience in facility services, building operations, or office environment.
- Strong organization skills and good phone and public relation skills.
- Knowledge of facility management functions, processes, and tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
