About the position
The Facility Maintenance Manager at Cargill will oversee maintenance and performance optimization for the Cocoa and Chocolate manufacturing facility in Mount Joy, PA. This role involves leading a team to execute routine complex activities aimed at maintaining and improving capacity utilization and quality standards, while fostering a culture of safety and preventative maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Develop and lead a team ensuring a preventative maintenance culture that is centered around safety.
- Supervise the execution of equipment maintenance strategy for each asset involved with containing, controlling or safeguarding a high hazard process.
- Implement and monitor methodologies to improve operational effectiveness in compliance with regulatory codes and standards.
- Lead the integration of contractor partners and equipment providing support to your team.
- Partner with regional and global leadership to develop area leading practices.
- Plan and prioritize work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals.
- Oversee the development of the operational related budget to track the area progress against the estimate.
- Lead and develop a team, coach and make decisions related to talent management, hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field OR equivalent experience
- Minimum of four years of related work experience

- Previous supervisory experience
- Experience with Lean Six Sigma or other Continuous Improvement Methodology
