About the position
The Housekeeper/Laundry Aide is responsible for performing all functions necessary to maintain a clean, homelike environment in the Facility, and laundering Resident clothing and Facility linens and other items. Under the supervision of the Housekeeping/Laundry Supervisor, the Housekeeper/Laundry Aide is responsible for day-to-day and deep cleaning activities and laundry throughout the Facility, in accordance with State & Federal regulations and Facility policy/procedures. Housekeeping/Laundry Aides may be assigned solely to Housekeeping tasks, Laundry tasks or a combination. The Housekeeper/Laundry Aide participates in the scheduled supervision of Resident smoke breaks.
Responsibilities
- Perform day-to-day cleaning activities in the Facility.
- Conduct deep cleaning activities as required.
- Launder Resident clothing and Facility linens.
- Maintain a clean and homelike environment in the Facility.
- Participate in the supervision of Resident smoke breaks.
Requirements
- Less than high school education or up to one (1) month related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education & experience.
- Satisfactory OIG exclusions and background check.
- Satisfactory personal & professional references.
