About the position

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Facilities Maintenance Manager to join our team in El Paso, Texas! In this role you will ensure that all facilities are maintained to the highest standards to support the operational needs of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Supervise on-site staffing and handle 24/7 scheduling for maintenance activities.
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of all building facilities, including structural, mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and sanitary systems.
  • Perform tasks such as painting and making repairs to plumbing and electrical systems.
  • Conduct routine safety inspections and perform inspections on different facilities to identify and address problems.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify and address potential hazards.
  • Develop and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
  • Design and implement maintenance procedures to ensure the longevity and reliability of facilities and equipment.
  • Work with the program management office to maintain a variety of service contracts for routine and specialized maintenance services.
  • Develop and implement emergency response plans for facility-related incidents.

Requirements

  • Associates degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or 10 years of facility maintenance supervisory experience.
  • Proven experience in facilities maintenance management, with a strong background in building systems and maintenance practices.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in maintenance management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
