About the position

The Facilities Cleaner is responsible for cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining assigned areas in compliance with company and client standards. This role emphasizes infection prevention and requires interaction with clients to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and safety in healthcare environments.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and inspect assigned work area to verify compliance with procedures and standards.
• Participate in training programs on safety regulations and cleaning methods.
• Empty, clean, and damp-wipe all waste receptacles and remove waste from the premises.
• Vacuum rugs and carpeted areas in offices, lobbies, and corridors.
• Hand dust and wipe clean all office furniture and fixtures.
• Remove finger marks and smudges from vertical surfaces.
• Damp-mop or clean any spillage in offices and public areas as required.
• Keep janitor's closet clean and orderly.
• Sweep or dust mop hard floor surfaces.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 1+ years of custodial experience preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in floor care and carpet cleaning preferred.
• Prior experience cleaning in healthcare facilities preferred.
• Fluency in the English language is required.
